Original upload date: Apr 22, 2008 Yesterday I had a pair of Cherry Head conures Aratinga Erythrogeny visit my bird feeder. I was thrilled to see them. Sorry for the horrible camera work. I was too excited to hold it still and so afraid I’d scare them away. I can’t believe I got close enough to open the screen door to get a clear shot. They came back today. To keep them in the area I will build them a nest box and hang it in one of the trees so I’ll film the progress of that as well. I’m so thrilled. It’s like having to green gems in my backyard!! If I can’t get hummingbirds I’ll settle for parrots.
